Just thought I'd let you all know that my manuscript has finally reached 40,000 words. It's officially novel-length! There's plenty of work to do, but I'm still proud of myself

Hello out there in Internet-land!
I'm sorry I've been so distant. It's been a crazy--how long has it been since I posted anything?--too long, and while I cannot promise that I will be uploading content regularly, I will try to put up SOME things this year.
Just an update, in the summer of 2013, I began work on my novel (hopefully one of my magna opera), but then in October of that same year I lost it all when my computer crashed. 26,000 words gone. Many of my original pieces from the earliest days of my writing career, deleted. Only now have I reached roughly 26k words again, though it has been difficult with school and life, in general, being more demanding than ever.
Now you know my story. I'll try to give y'all some more entertaining ones this year.
